Reseating & Reparking Information

RESEATING & REPARKING OVERVIEW

The JMU Duke Club conducts priority reseating and reparking as a process to allow active Duke Club members the opportunity to upgrade their season ticket and parking locations. Upgrade opportunities are based on the accumulation of points through their continued support of JMU Athletics and improving their Duke Club Rank. Duke Club Rank is determined through the calculation of Priority Points, based on annual and lifetime giving, season ticket purchases, and consecutive years as a donor. Within this process, JMU Athletics reassigns seat locations for football and men's and women's basketball on a four year cycle and parking locations for football are reassigned every season. For more information, view the details for both reparking and reseating by clicking the links below.

FOOTBALL REPARKING

Prior to every football season, Duke Club members will select their parking locations online at JMUReparking.com in order of Duke Club Priority rank.  Reparking will begin in June of each year and Duke Club members who order season tickets before the May 15 Priority Deadline will receive advance confirmation of their selection time via email.  To be able to take part in the reparking process, half of your Duke Club gift must be made and season tickets purchased by the Priority Deadline, May 15.

In the summer of 2018, the university created a 164-spot parking lot on Godwin Field in order to address a variety of campus parking needs. This new lot will be known as F-Lot. While grass parking on Godwin Field will no longer be available, the newly paved F-Lot will be designed for the tailgate experience with extended spots and travel lanes allowing more room for set-up and tailgating.  As a result of this change, parking will no longer be available on Hanson Field to accommodate a new location for university game-day programming.

As a result of ongoing campus changes, JMU Athletics will not be able to guarantee the same parking locations for the 2019 season and therefore will not offer the reparking exemption that was available in previous seasons.

Reparking FAQ

What is Duke Club football reparking?
Duke Club priority reparking is a process that allows active Duke Club members to upgrade their respective parking by accumulating points through their support of the program. Priority Points are calculated based on a variety of factors: annual and lifetime giving, season ticket purchases and consecutive years as a donor.

What are the minimum donation requirement to access game-day parking lots?

What happens if I do not make my Duke Club contribution by the priority deadline?
Duke Club donors who do not pledge and pay 50% of their annual fund gift by the priority deadline (May 15) will not have their priority points calculated for football reparking, and will not be eligible for reparking.

What happens if I do not renew or order my season tickets by the priority deadline?
In order to take part in reparking each year, we must receive your season ticket renewal and Duke Club gift by May 15. Orders received after May 15 will not be included in the football reparking.

How do I select my parking space?
If eligible for reparking, you will receive an email with your allotted time and log in information. Upon receiving this email, you may log in to JMUreparking.com to review the parking maps and available lots. When your allotted time begins you may select your space. Click here to view a reparking demonstration.

When will I know where my parking pass will be?
If you cannot select at your allotted time, JMU Athletics will review any preferences you provided and best select your location based on availability.  You will receive an email confirmation of your spot assignment once it is selected.

Which reserved lots have specific parking spaces that are individually assigned?
The only lots that have individually assigned spaces are Champions Deck, Godwin Lot, G-Lot, P-Lot and D-Lot.

Is it possible to park with the same people I have parked with in the past?
Yes. If you would like to park with someone please indicate this on your parking preferences. The individual with the lower priority total determines the location of the whole group. This only applies for reserved parking lots (Champions Deck, Godwin Lot, G-Lot, P-Lot, D-Lot).

What is the advantage of football reparking annually?
Re-assigning parking gives individuals the opportunity to improve parking based on the amount of priority points accumulated since the last year. The priority point system governs upgrades of parking locations for existing donors and new donors. The system is intended to promote fairness, reward the loyalty of our long-time supporters and encourage current contributors to the Duke Club.

RESEATING
Duke Club priority reseating is a process that allows active Duke Club members to upgrade their season ticket locations by accumulating Priority Points through their support of the program and improving their Duke Club Rank. Priority Points are calculated based on a variety of factors: annual and lifetime giving, season ticket purchases and consecutive years as a donor. Priority points are used to determine your overall rank within the Duke Club. JMU Athletics reseats both football and basketball every four years in order of Duke Club rank.

Reseating Process
Following the respective priority deadlines, all Duke Club members who have ordered season tickets will be ranked in order of their Duke Club priority points. Seat selection appointments will be scheduled in rank order. Duke Club members will be notified of their selection time after the respective priority deadline and selections will be facilitated using an online interface. The online interface will allow donors to make themselves comfortable with seating options and review available seats before their appointment and once it is their selection time, pick their seat location for the next four years. In the event a donor cannot perform their online seat selection, JMU Athletics will select seats based on seating preferences, previous location, and the best available locations.

Providing Your Seating Preferences
Season ticket holders will be given the opportunity to indicate their preferences for their season ticket location. In the event you can not be present during your seat selection appointment, JMU Athletics will select your seats based on preferences given. Preferences can be indicated at the time of order, upon payment of remaining balances, or by contacting the Athletic Ticket Office by phone (540-568-3853) or at athletic-ticket@jmu.edu. If preferences are not indicated, we will select the best seats available.

Group Seating Blocks
When making their online selection, donors may opt to select with other season ticket holders based on availability during their selection time. Donors must wait until their selection time to pick available seats with a group. Donors who would like to sit with a specific group or party should indicate so on your seat preferences.

Reseating FAQ

What is Duke Club reseating?
Duke Club priority reseating is a process that allows active Duke Club members to upgrade their respective seats by accumulating points through their support of the program. Priority Points are calculated based on a variety of factors: annual and lifetime giving, season ticket purchases and consecutive years as a donor. JMU Athletics reseats both football and basketball every four years in order of Duke Club rank.

Why reseat Bridgeforth Stadium and the Convocation Center?
The reseating process allows the most fair and equitable process to assign season tickets and enables access to all seating areas using Duke Club priority and rank. The Duke Club reseating process mandates reseating every four years which began in 2001 at Bridgeforth Stadium and 2004 in the Convocation Center. During the stadium expansion process, regularly scheduled reseatings were delayed to coincide with the completion of Bridgeforth Stadium.

Do I have to be a current Duke Club member to sit in priority seating?
Yes. To sit in Duke Club priority seating, individuals must make an annual fund gift at the Duke Level ($150 or greater). Benefits within the Duke Club (ticket quantities, parking, hospitality, etc.) are based on the amount of your annual fund gift. All restricted gifts will be counted for points; however, you must make an annual fund gift to activate your points.

What happens if I do not make my Duke Club contribution by the priority deadline?
Duke Club donors who do not pledge and pay 50% of their annual unrestricted gift by the respective priority deadline will not have their priority points calculated for the upcoming reseating. In order to receive a reseating appointment, we must receive your Duke Club gift and season ticket renewal by the priority deadline.

What happens if I do not renew or order my season tickets by the priority deadline?
In order to receive a reseating appointment we must receive your season ticket renewal before the priority deadline. Season ticket orders received after the priority deadline will not be included in the reseating process.

When will I be able to know where my seats will be?
