Over 900 fans and friends joined the Duke Club to take the field at Bridgeforth Stadium on Friday, September 29 to celebrate the 8th Annual Friday Night Flights beer and wine festival, presented by W.M. Jordan Company.
Hosted by the Duke Club, this special night under the lights raised a record $33,000 — over $20,000 more than previous events — with all event proceeds going to directly benefit the JMU student-athlete experience and the athletics general operating budget.
The event fundraising success continues to be greatly impacted by the support of event sponsors and the collective contributions of community partners. Due to this continued community support, all in attendance received an exclusive commemorative tasting cup (an annual collector's item); sample beer and wine from local breweries and wineries across the valley; meet and greet with JMU coaches, staff, and spirit team members; and enjoy games and fan-fun activities. The 2023 event sponsors included W.M.
