The Duke Club is excited to embark on "The Year of the Dukes" in 2024. A year of new journeys, competition and opportunities for our student-athletes. We ask that you become an integral part of this year by joining our student-athletes in embracing a "110%" mindset.

Associate Athletic Director for Development, Scooter Renkin, said, "This mindset is focused on giving that little extra when it means the most. This past year has been nothing short of incredible and we need support from everyone to keep this momentum going. Accomplishments require resources, and it's time to invest in the future of JMU Athletics." 

It's easy to see that our student-athletes give 110% in everything they do. They go the extra mile every day to separate themselves in the classroom, on the field and in the community. They continue to break records and take JMU to unparalleled heights. It is with this mindset that our student-athletes and coaches are able to achieve their goals and pursue conference and national championships. 

2024 has already brought some remarkable moments on the field for the Dukes. Our Women's Lacrosse team, ranked #6 at the time, defeated #3 UNC 19-18 in an overtime thriller to set the pace for their spring season. For the sixth time in seven seasons, the Swim & Dive team held up the first place trophy as the Dukes won the SBC Championship, scoring 1,091 points, a new tournament record for the conference. The Baseball team tied their highest ranked win in program history with a 7-3 win over #3 Arkansas, and the list goes on. As for in the classroom and community, 159 student-athletes we're recognized on the Dean's List or President's List for the Fall 2023 academic term. Our student-athletes have also provided 6,461 hours of community service since May 1, 2023, a huge leap from last year. 

Now we call upon all of our passionate donors and JMU Athletics fans. The Proud & True Fund fuels our student-athletes and equips them with the resources they need to be successful.
