CEMENT YOUR LEGACY

The brick location in front of the Plecker Athletic Performance Center has become a rallying spot during football games, a photo opportunity for all, and an iconic place to commemorate a graduation or other milestone accomplished by JMU alumni, family and friends.

Donations to the Duke Dog Paver Campaign are eligible to receive a 4"x8" or 8"x8" paver in recognition of their generous gift to the JMU Athletic department. Campaign donors will have the opportunity to personalize the paver with custom engraving to reflect how the donor wants to leave their legacy.

By making your donation to the Duke Dog Paver campaign, the donor agrees that the text submitted at the time of the donation is the intended text to be engraved. The Duke Club will assume that the submitted text is accurate and approved by the donor.

If the donor believes an error has been made, the Duke Club must be contacted as soon as possible so the text may be corrected prior to installation. Once pavers are installed at the Plecker Center, no edits or changes can be made.

INSTALLATION LOCATIONS

Duke Dog Paver Donation deadlines are July 15th (for fall installation) and February 15th (for spring installation).

If you have recently donated to the Duke Dog Paver Campaign, you will receive a message from the Duke Club after your paver is installed.

For any questions regarding the location of a previously installed paver, please reach out to the JMU Duke Club at dukeclub@jmu.edu.

DUKE DOG PAVER PROGRAM FAQs

Donations made to the Duke Dog Paver Campaign qualify as a tax deductible donation. Your gift also qualifies for Duke Club priority points, but does not count towards Duke Club Proud and True giving level.
Payment plans are available for this campaign and can be completed online. Pavers will not be installed until payment is received in full.
Paver installations are currently scheduled twice a year - early fall, and early spring - with the intent for installation to occur prior to the beginning of the academic year as well as before May commencement. Installation and cut-off dates are subject to change. Please use the contact info below for further questions.
