James Madison University Athletics

In December of 2017, the United States Government passed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Included in this legislation is a provision that addresses charitable gifts made for the rights to purchase athletic tickets at a University. Under this new tax law, if a donor receives access to tickets for home events based on a donation then they will no longer be able to claim a tax deduction on this gift.

The Duke Club Seat Contribution supports the following: 
- JMU student-athlete scholarships and general operating 
- Access to Football and Basketball Home Game Tickets 
- Priority Points accumulation [Contribution($) x 0.08]
- CANNOT receive a tax deduction, but you will be recognized as a general athletic donor
