Why did you decide to become a member of the Duke Club and make a gift to the Proud & True Fund?
I love JMU and coming back to sporting events is what brings me back to campus multiple times a year for a variety of sports.
What has been your favorite part of being a member of the Duke Club?
I enjoy seeing the success of the athletes (on and off the field) and seeing how athletics has helped JMU increase its visibility on a national platform.
What has kept you involved as a member of the Duke Club?
JMU's continued growth and commitment to getting better every day has kept me a member.
Do you have a favorite JMU team(s)? Why is the team(s) your favorite?
My favorite is football because of the tailgating experience. However, we have been to several sports and anyone wearing purple and gold has my full support!
What do you love most about JMU Athletics?
Winning!
Do you have a favorite moment in JMU Athletics history?
I have a tie. Football's win over Virginia Tech and the JMU softball run to the College World Series are my favorite sport moments. Read about the softball World Series run. Reminisce on the football victory.
Do you have any game day fan traditions?
Throwing streamers for touchdowns is my favorite JMU tradition!
What advice do you give to other JMU fans and friends to encourage them to give and get involved with the Duke Club?
Just come out to a game and you will be hooked!
Your gift/membership to the Proud & True Fund/Duke Club supports JMU Athletics and makes a big impact. What motivates you to give and be a part of this program?
I am motivated by seeing how well the athletics department puts my money to use to ensure the success on the field and off for our student athletes. I can see my dollars working hard!
