All JMU students are invited to join the Student Duke Club (SDC), the official student fan section of JMU Athletics that provides students the opportunity to grow the “We Bleed Purple” culture together! SDC is a philanthropic student membership group, with a $25 annual commitment, that grants members exclusive benefits including: SDC apparel, exclusive seating at JMU athletic events, early access to premier athletic events, and invites to members-only events throughout the year.

I’m a member of Inter-Varsity, and officer (PT-Expo Chair) for the Pre-PT Society
Why did you decide to become a member and get involved with the Student Duke Club (SDC)?
The incentives.
What has been your favorite part of being a member of SDC?
Having the opportunity to attend the UVA vs JMU men’s basketball game back in Fall 2021. Without the SDC, I would have missed a historic game.
What has kept you involved as a member of SDC?
The incentives it’s provided.
What do you love most about JMU Athletics?
The competitiveness of our programs.
Do you have a favorite moment in JMU Athletics history? If so, please share!
When JMU Football won the 2017 FCS championship.
Do you have any game day student fan traditions (tailgating, wearing the same gear, etc.?!)
Going to grab dominos before a football game and eating it in the parking lot before walking down.
What advice do you give to other JMU students to encourage them to give and get involved with SDC?
Just do it, you’ll be glad that you did!

Knowing my money helps both myself and the student athletes. It’s a win for everyone involved.
