All JMU students are invited to join the Student Duke Club (SDC), the official student fan section of JMU Athletics that provides students the opportunity to grow the “We Bleed Purple” culture together! SDC is a philanthropic student membership group, with a $25 annual commitment, that grants members exclusive benefits including: SDC apparel, exclusive seating at JMU athletic events, early access to premier athletic events, and invites to members-only events throughout the year.

What is your dream job once you complete your studies at JMU?
My dream job upon graduation, is working in college baseball and eventually becoming a sports agent.
Why did you decide to become a member and get involved with the Student Duke Club (SDC)?
I decided to become a member and get involved in the Student Duke Club because there are so many opportunities to support student athletes.
What has been your favorite part of being a member of SDC?
My favorite part of being a member of the SDC is being able to meet student athletes, and get to know them as more than just an athlete.
What has kept you involved as a member of SDC?
The reason why I’ve stayed involved as a member of the SDC is for the opportunities to support student athletes, and my friends.
What do you love most about JMU Athletics?
The thing I love most about JMU Athletics is the atmosphere at every sporting event I’ve attended.
Do you have a favorite moment in JMU Athletics history? If so, please share!
My favorite moment in JMU Athletics history is the move to the SBC, and beating Virginia in basketball and football
Do you have any game day student fan traditions?
My game day student fan tradition is tailgating with my friends and family.
What advice do you give to other JMU students to encourage them to give and get involved with SDC?
My advice to other JMU students is get involved in the SDC early, because you get to meet a bunch of great people and it was one of the best decisions I made.
Your gift/membership to SDC supports JMU Athletics and makes a big impact. What motivates you to give and be a part of this program?
The thing that motivates me to give and be a part of this program is being able to support the student athletes, and being able to see how much success they have.
