As Duke Club members, our donors are making a BIG impact on the JMU student-athlete experience. Gifts to the Duke Club go to benefit the Proud & True Fund and support all of JMU's 18 varsity sports, cheerleading, and the athletics operating budget.

What is your current job title? Where do you work? What is a brief summary of your job description?
We are both retired. Glenn retired from Prince William County Schools. Becky retired from a government accountability office.
Why did you decide to become a member of the Duke Club and make a gift to the Proud & True Fund?
We wanted to be part of our sons' school. We served on the parents' council for five years. We have been season ticket holders for football since 2008. We also have season tickets for men's and women's basketball.
What has been your favorite part of being a member of the Duke Club?
The events are our favorite part.
What has kept you involved as a member of the Duke Club?
The atmosphere, traditions and environment have kept us involved.
Do you have a favorite JMU team(s)? Why is the team(s) your favorite?
Football because of the fans, games are exciting, and tailgating is fun and great social networking.
What do you love most about JMU Athletics?
We love the atmosphere and the loyalty of the fans.
Do you have a favorite moment in JMU Athletics history?
Our favorite memory is JMU beating Virginia Tech.
Do you have any game day fan traditions?
We tailgate with others and often have themes. Overall, just awesome to be part of the whole experience.
What advice do you give to other JMU fans and friends to encourage them to give and get involved with the Duke Club?
Be part of the family, find a place to fit in, just trying going to a sporting event before you decide it isn't for you.

Giving back to the community is our reason for giving.
