JMU Football is heading to Fort Worth, Texas to compete in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl against the Air Force Falcons! Game time is slated for December 23 at 2:30 p.m. CST, and will be aired on ABC.

The Duke Club celebrated Letterwinner Weekend 2023 with a kickoff reception at the Atlantic Union Bank Center (AUBC) on Friday, November 17, launching a weekend of events honoring the Dukes of the past while supporting the Dukes of today.

In celebration of the opening of the newly renovated Convocation Center (The Convo), the Duke Club hosted an exclusive behind the-scenes-tour of the facility for JMU Athletics Proud and True Fund donors on Friday, November 11. The event included a guided tour of the transformation of The Convo - originally built in 1982.

James Madison Director of Athletics Jeff Bourne has selected Bob Chesney as the ninth head coach in the history of the JMU football program.

He was awarded a five-year contract to lead the Dukes, who begin next year as a full-fledged member in the Football Bowl Subdivision.

Chesney brings 14 years of head coaching experience ranging from Division I FCS to Division III, winning seven conference championships with a career record of 111-46 (.707).
