JMU FOOTBALL MAKES DEBUT IN AP TOP 25 POLL

On October 9th, following a 5-0 start in its first season at the FBS level, James Madison was ranked #25 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 College Football Poll.
 
This was the first time in school history that the Dukes are nationally-ranked in a major FBS poll after receiving 105 total votes from the poll's 63 voters.
 
The Dukes also received 70 votes in the USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches' Poll, serving as the third team outside that top 25.
Currently the Dukes sit at 5-2 unranked and are headed into a bye week before traveling to Louisville on November, 5th. The Dukes will kick off at 7:30 PM on ESPNU.

Homecoming Weekend 2022

This past Homecoming Weekend JMU celebrated the Unleashed comprehensive campaign surpassing all of its goals! 63,976 donors gave more than $251 million going towards scholarships, programs and capital projects on campus.

JMU Basketball Teams Attend Sun Belt Media Days

The James Madison basketball teams opened their first seasons as members of the Sun Belt Conference at their Media Days in New Orleans, Louisiana. Women's Basketball Media day was on Tuesday, Oct. 18 and Men's Basketball followed on Wednesday, Oct. 19.
Head Coach Sean O'Regan and senior guard Kiki Jefferson represented the Dukes for the women's team. Meanwhile, the men's squad saw Head Coach Mark Byington and graduate forward Alonzo Sule.

Dukes LEAD Community Service Highlights

Dukes LEAD is a Student-Athlete Leadership Program where JMU student-athletes focus on positive initiatives outside of athletics and academics to prepare them for life after college.

Day With the Dukes

For the first time since COVID-19, JMU student-athletes from Football, Cheer, Baseball, Men's Soccer, and Men's and Women's Basketball hosted a fun experience for over 60 Special Olympics athletes.

Go Gold for Pediatric Cancer Awareness

JMU Athletics raised over $2,000 in support of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and the son of JMU Football coach Damian Wroblewski. The funds will be given to Children's National Hospital to help with cancer research.

Sending Smiles Across the Country

JMU student-athletes from several teams created love letters to send to children who are ill across the country.
