What is your current job title? Where do you work? What is a brief summary of your job description?
I am a public company board of director and audit committee chair for Stewart Information Services, GSE Systems and Fundbox.
Why did you decide to become a member of the Duke Club and make a gift to the Proud & True Fund?
Athletics provides excellent visibility for our university on a national scale which increases the value of a JMU degree.
What has been your favorite part of being a member of the Duke Club?
My favorite part is the sharing of information on a variety of JMU Sports results and other activity.
What has kept you involved as a member of the Duke Club?
I am involved due to the continued success of the various programs.
Do you have a favorite JMU team(s)? Why is the team(s) your favorite?
Both football and women's lacrosse are my favorite JMU teams. Football provides the most visibility on a national scale and being from Maryland, lacrosse is a sport I have always followed.
What do you love most about JMU Athletics?
I love how it fosters our tremendous school spirit.
Do you have a favorite moment in JMU Athletics history?
The National Lacrosse Championship is probably my favorite moment. The prior champions over the previous thirty years were concentrated among a small number of "bigger name" schools and for JMU to break through as NCAA Champions was huge! Read about the National Lacrosse Championship.
Do you have any game day fan traditions?
My tradition includes tailgating at Homecoming with my fraternity brothers and other friends.
What advice do you give to other JMU fans and friends to encourage them to give and get involved with the Duke Club?
It is a fantastic way to stay involved with the university and stay in touch with college friends.
Your gift/membership to the Proud & True Fund/Duke Club supports JMU Athletics and makes a big impact. What motivates you to give and be a part of this program?
My youngest daughter now is a freshman at JMU and that even motivates me more to stay involved and continue to give back to JMU.
