What is your current job title? Where do you work? What is a brief summary of your job description?
I am formerly a partner at Kelson Investment Partners as an institutional (pension funds) asset manager.
Why did you decide to become a member of the Duke Club and make a gift to the Proud & True Fund?
My time at JMU, both academically and athletically, was one of the greatest experiences of my life. It put me on the path to where I am today.
What has been your favorite part of being a member of the Duke Club?
My favorite part is watching the school and football program grow and flourish into what is now nationally recognized coveted and respected.
What has kept you involved as a member of the Duke Club?
The professional staff and engagement with me have kept me a member.
Do you have a favorite JMU team(s)? Why is the team(s) your favorite?
My favorite team is football. It’s where my history and passion lies.
What do you love most about JMU Athletics?
The unconditional commitment and passion by both alumni and current students for all sports programs (women’s and men’s) is what I love most about JMU Athletics.
Do you have a favorite moment in JMU Athletics history?
My favorite moment was when our football team made it to our first NCAA FCS Playoffs in 1987! Read about JMU celebrating 50 seasons of football.
What advice do you give to other JMU fans and friends to encourage them to give and get involved with the Duke Club?
We can’t expect to enjoy the level of athletic success we’ve had, and continue to compete at the highest level without dedicated financial support from all JMU stakeholders.
