LET'S GO DUKES!
Commencement Week has arrived here in Harrisonburg, and the 2025 Coaches Caravan is preparing to hit the road - don't forget to join us in Richmond ( June 2nd), NOVA ( June 3rd), Virginia Beach ( June 4th), and Staunton ( July 25th). Meanwhile, JMU spring sports are coming to a close, and the Dukes are packing up for the summer. But fear not! The Duke Club is excited to continue providing plentiful opportunity to support the Dukes in Harrisonburg, and beyond! Thank you to those who joined us for the 40th Annual Duke Club Golf Classic earlier this month. It was a spectacular day, complete with perfect weather, and an incredible round of golf hosted by Lakeview Golf Club. We are incredibly grateful for the all of the ways in which so many of you continue to show up for the Dukes, and we hope that each of you enjoyed the day as much as we did. No. 1 James Madison Lacrosse limited a South Florida offense averaging 16 goals a game to just nine, and eight Dukes scored goals to win its first American Athletic Conference Championship, 18-9, on May 3rd at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
The Dukes earned the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and made their 10th straight appearance in the big dance. The Dukes' AAC triumph marked the program's 14th conference tournament championship in program history.
