Why JMU: 
JMU, and the Shenandoah Valley, is home. From the moment I walked on campus as an undergrad in 2009, I completely fell in love with every aspect of the purple and gold. The people, the scenery, the opportunity for growth and connection, have carved a special place in my heart. I’m forever thankful to be a Duke and, now, a townie!  

Favorite Spot In Harrisonburg:
Shenandoah National Park! Whether simply driving through or stopping for a hike, it’s a great place to pause and reset.
